End of year 2022

Here it is, Christmas has arrived! This is the update of my last quarter of 2022.

Fall followed me all the way home from Montana to Arizona and I enjoyed a hike close to home.

Weather was also nice enough in November for me to camp two nights at Apache Lake.
It had been a long time since I had kayaked and it felt great to be on the water again!

After driving to California mid November, I flew with my daughter, Rachel to the East Coast where we met with other family members.  We were there to see my talented nephew, Max Baker in a one man show at Cape May, NJ.  It was a fun four days and I was pleased to be present to support Max in a play his father, Doug Baker wrote years ago. One Christmas Carol has over 30 characters that he portrayed so well! This is is Doug and my daughter, Rachel below.

During our stay in NJ we found an alpaca farm!

After our Cape May stay, I rode back to Maryland to have Thanksgiving with my grandson, Jake my son, Sean and his girlfriend and her daughter in Baltimore.  After the meal, we walked to the Inner Harbor which was very quiet except a skating rink where we observed only!

While in the DC area, I took a day to play visitor.  On this visit I went to the Library of Congress, Jefferson Building as seen below.

After helping with Christmas decorating at my son's place in Maryland, I flew back to California.
You can see the Coronado Bridge below.

Here is my granddaughter adding one of the decorations Uncle Sean sent for her family's tree.

We spent one evening at Balboa Park to get into the holiday spirit. The tram wasn't so fun for Gabby but Grayson loved it.

When I returned from California, I took part in a wonderful session at Shanti Omstead in Gisela, just south of Payson.  Winter Wellspring Gathering was good for the soul, complete with organic meals.  There were sessions to choose from, Sound Therapy and Drumming.

Here I am creating my Talisman!

Finished product ~

After having a busy year full of travel, I am pleased to be enjoying the spirit of the season at home.  It's amazing to see the variety of activities this little town offers!
Just this week my two Vegas sisters visited me.

We enjoyed time at home putting together a small jigsaw puzzle, some games and a Meet and Greet with some of my friends.  I am grateful for where I am in life ~ blessed with good family relationships and support of friends.  I wish all of my family and friends a loving holiday and prosperity (in so many ways)! See you in the New Year!
